Ghana VP welcomes David West and Organizers of Africa All Access

A Warm Welcoming

David West of the Golden State Warriors, had the honor of representing the Africa All Access team in a meeting with the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. David discussed his passion for Africa’s youth and using athletics as a powerful conduit. Africa All Access will be conducting a basketball skills clinic on August 15th on the campus of the University of Ghana – Legon. The clinic will include young players from all corners of Ghana providing personal instruction and discussions on leadership from such committed professionals as David, TJ Warren (Phoenix Suns), and Pops Mensa Bonsu (former NBA player and now member of the San Antonio Spurs). Vice President Bawumia, an avid basketball fan, expressed his support and best wishes to the team on a successful event. The Ghana clinic will serve as the template for expansion into other African nations. A unique aspect of the clinic is the inclusion of the Solutions Hub, a showcase of innovations in areas such as sustainable development and renewable energy.

Africa All Access is a collaboration of the African Union, Zoetic Energy, and New Generation Power International. It was a response to the African Unions’ 2017 theme of “The Youth Dividend.”
